Xochitl Medrano

Xochitl Medrano is the Political Coordinator for the District Council of Iron Workers of the State of California and Vicinity, organizing around labor rights, infrastructure investment, and public policy that uplifts working families. Previously, she served as President of the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats, where she focused on building power through youth leadership and grassroots organizing. With a background in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, Xochitl brings a strong foundation in public service and a deep commitment to equity, empowerment, and representation. She brings expertise in political strategy, community organizing, and labor advocacy. Her work spans campaign management, coalition building, and civic engagement, with a focus on empowering underrepresented communities. Lastly, she is proud to have become a mentor for RTL alumni Emely Pineda-Rivas and Nayeli Garcia Leonardo.
